Tree of Knowledge
The tree appears as a stage of the human consciousness in her way of life; double slowed down, between grounding and flight. An almost motionless dance, crossed by the imperceptible movements of the juice, the shiver of the foliage and the rustle of silence.
The tree invites to meditate - it is inspired by the banyan where Buddha reaches his awakening - and the harmony aroused can lead to identification with nature, in the desire to become the tree, which we find in the texts of Thoreau and in the work of Matisse. Moreover, as declares Goethe: "in every human being hides an original plant."
